Breeders of Rare Jacob sheep

Bent Willow Farm

Roz was purchased from Murray Bay.  Although Roz does not posses all of the desired traits of an ideal Jacob (i.e. small black eye patches and fused horns)  Her lambs are consistently nice.

Ebony was born in 2006 and the twin to Ivory.  She is so named since she is mostly black.  Like her mother, Ebony has two beautiful even horns.  As the months pass Ebony is becoming braver and braver around people.

To-whee is a very woolly ewe.  She tends to stick close to her two best friends Terra and Tzigane.

Tzigane loves to jump and play like a newborn lamb.  She frequently tries to entice the other ewes into her silly behavior and sometimes she convinces them, much to our amusement.

Pippa is a wonderful example of a Jacob sheep’s individuality.  She bonded immediately to humans and can be frequently seen taking walks with Luc and the dogs.  Her personality has made a special place in our hearts.

Unlike most of Roz’s lambs, Roxy is a shy ewe .  She prefers to watch other sheep explore new things and then let her know it’s safe.  She tends to stay very close to her mother and half-sister and are starting to form a little gang.

Grace was the smallest of her sisters but don’t tell her.  She is quite fond of stomping her hoofs to  lett you know when she doesn’t approve of something.
