100% Jacob sheep wool is available for sale as raw fleece, rovings, handspun thread, knit items, and sheepskins.  The wool is sheared by hand once a year in the spring.  None of the wool is dyed during the manufacturing process.  Since all products are made by hand, the colour combinations from white to grey to black can be made to the customer’s specifications.

Raw fleece is wool obtained after it has been shorn without any further processing.  All fleeces are shorn using hand shears, and generously skirted to remove any dirty or undesirable wool.  Once shearing is complete each fleece is individually packaged, weighed, labeled, and stored.  Raw fleece is ideal for handspinners who wish to process the wool themselves.
